7 Safety Functions
In built The Immortal 3000 are 7 safety functions, for easy use.
- Low water = It tells you if there is not enough distilled water in the machine.
- Over fill of water = It tells you if there is too much water in the machine.
- Overheat = It tells you if the machine is too hot and needs time to cool down.
- Over pressure = It tells you if something is blocking the air flow, this is often a twisted breathing cannula, which you can untwist in seconds.
- Unbalance = It tells you if the surface the machine is sitting on is not level and the machine needs to be re positioned onto a level surface.
- TDS water quality = It tells you if the quality of the distilled water is not clean enough and the distilled water needs replacing.
- Filter = It tells you if the water filter needs changing.
Water Quality Matters
To keep your Immortal performing at its best, always use distilled water. Tap water, mineral water, or any water containing dissolved minerals can gradually build up on the electrode plates, reducing performance and potentially shortening the life of the machine.
While distilled water is usually very pure, not all distilled water is created equally. Whether you purchase it or produce it yourself, small impurities can occasionally be introduced. That’s why we recommend checking the water before every refill.
The easiest way to do this is with a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) pen. Simply switch it on, place the tip into the distilled water, and take a reading. We recommend a reading of 2 ppm or less, with 0 ppm being ideal. If your reading is 2 ppm or below, your water is perfectly suitable for use.
For added peace of mind, The Hydro Medic feature a built-in water quality sensor that immediately alerts you if the distilled water does not meet the required standard, helping to protect your machine.
In over nine years of supplying hydrogen therapy machines, the only occasional issue we’ve encountered has been customers unknowingly using water that wasn’t pure enough. That’s why every Immortal we includes a FREE TDS pen, making it quick and easy to check your water before each refill. Since introducing this simple extra step, we have not experienced a single water-quality-related issue.

How Much Distilled Water Do I Need?
For Your Immortal 3000, you will need 2.6 liters of distilled water to fill it up. This machine comes with a water level sensor to tell you if the water level is low, plus on the back of the machine you can also physically see with your own eyes the water level. When the water is low, all you need to do is to top up the water level, to the mark shown on the machine, if by mistake you added too much water you can simply drain out, from the back draining tube.
We estimate that with average use you will use around 5 liters of distilled water every 2 months.
Replacement Water Filter
The Immortal machine has an extra filter inside it; this simply keeps the machine even cleaner inside. We give an estimated time when this filter needs changing which is around 8 to 12 months. If you need an extra filter, we do carry them in stock, and they are £25 for a pack of 2 on our shop page, when you receive your Immortal 3000, in the box is 1 filter.
